Wnioski z Benchmark'a

Po tych testach można zauważyć że CF dopiero się "aktywuję" przy wszystkich opcjach włączonych w grze (AA i AF) - co słychać też po wentylatorach na kartach graficznych (większe obroty = więcej hałasu 😀 ). Ponieważ jest nie wielka różnica między testami dla

CrossFire włączony, AA wyłączone, AF wyłączone

Z czego można wywnioskować, iż gra od samego początku nie wykorzystuje pełnych mocy komputera bo tak już w tym pierwszym teście dla CF włączonego obie karty aktywowałyby się na przynajmniej 80% i słychać byłoby szum wentylatorów na obu kartach

Screeny:

Zrobiłem jeszcze screeny tego samego statku w praktycznie tym samym ujęciu na włączonym i wyłączonym AA i AF ja szczerze nie bardzo widzę różnicę w tej grze między tymi ustawieniami, oczywiście pomijając różnice w fps'ach.

Zrobiłem jeszcze jeden test dla jak to ATI określa SUPER AA (opcja do ustawienia w sterownikach tylko przy wyłączonym CF) próbkowanie chyba zamiast 8x to 32x różnica w avg fps jest kosmiczna w tym teście wychodzi około 46fpsów....

Super Anti-Aliasing for ATI CrossFireX™

ATI CrossFireX configurations offer an improvement over standard MSAA capabilities, extending the range of sample locations from 2×, 4×, or 6× to include 8×, 10×, 12×, and 14× programmable locations. Anti-aliasing on ATI CrossFireX configurations use both the MSAA mode and another mode called super-sample anti-aliasing (SSAA). SSAA affects every pixel in an image and is most effective for improving the quality of some types of textures, especially those with transparent portions that exhibit aliasing that is not removed by MSAA techniques.

Note: SSAA is available on an ATI multi-GPU system only when ATI CrossFireX is enabled.

SSAA first renders a scene at a higher resolution than the output to the display, which is then down sampled to the display’s resolution. It can also make use of a more effective sample pattern that does a better job of anti-aliasing near-horizontal and near-vertical edges, resulting in better overall image quality.

Oczywiście widać różnicę między AA x0 a AA x8, natomiast nie widzę zbytniej różnicy w filtrowaniu tekstur na pierwszym zdjęciu jak je se przybliżyć to widać niedokładności boków itd.... ale tekstur? ja tam nie widzę zniekształceń całych tekstur... Natomiast nie widać kompletnie według mnie różnicy między tym AAx8 a SSAA (AAx32)...... Co do fpsów sami możecie zobaczyć dla AAx0 jest ich około 110 dla AAx8 to około 70 a SSAA to 43...hmm jak dla mnie różnice potworne przy tak mało znaczącej poprawie jakości...

Różnice między tymi ustawieniami AA są i to bez dyskusyjne jednakże dokładnie byłoby je widać dopiero dla rozdzielczościach małych gdzie jest więcej pikseli na cały monitor - to samo co do tego Anizotropowego filtrowana tekstur (AF)

Nie do końca dobrze, zobacz do FAQ o kolejności instalacji pacthy, czasem komuś coś nie tak działało (w fabułach) przy instalacji od razu patcha 2.5. Nie ma 100% gwarancji że to źle, ale różnie bywało, więc zalecana jest odpowiednia kolejność instalacji.

Instalacja patcha 2.5 polega na dograniu wszystkich poprzednich patchy. To nie jest tak jakbyś instalował samego patcha 2.5. Zobacz do katalogu głównego gry, niezależnie czy zainstalujesz od razu patcha 2.5, czy wszystkie po kolei, będziesz miał 9 plików .cat/.dat. Gra podstawowa 1.01 (taka ukazała się półtora roku temu) miała tych plików 3, wszystkie pozostałe dodawały kolejne patche.

Teoretycznie więc nie powinno mieć znaczenia, czy instalujesz patche po kolei, czy tylko ostatniego, bo ten ostatni robi to samo, tylko za jednym zamachem. Ale jak praktyka wskazuje (zobacz do tematu FAQ misji fabuły), dziwnym trafem tak nie jest.

no nie wiem no nie wiem.... Radek 4850 jest kartą na której w rozsądnej rozdzielczości na pełnych detalach chodzą póki co prawie wszystkie gry. Mój test na poprzedniej stronie z wyłączonym crossfire dał wartość FPS średnio na poziomie 90.... Tyle że tam siedział E8400 wykręcony na 3.8GHz.

Co do tych samych wyników to w tej grze i owszem to nie jest dziwne bo tu liczy się ilość GHz a nie ilość rdzeni czy tak na prawdę technologia. Co innego jest w aplikacjach typu 3ds max czy blender gdzie używasz wszystkich rdzeni. (po to kupiłem ten procesor) 😀

PS Zakładam z Twojej wypowiedzi że swojego AMD nie kręciłeś?

Wyniki takie jak na E8400 podkręconym na 3.8GHz a wystarczyło lekko uporządkować bios 😀 mówiłem że jest bajzel.

huh samych opcji jest więcej niż było na platformy E8400, ale co zmieniłem no to z takich poważniejszych np. zwiększyłem mnożnik pracy RAM (kupiłem pamięci 1600MHz a bios se ustawił tylko 1333MHz - wiedziałem że tak będzie bo w samej "specyfikacji" płyty głównej już było napisane). Po prostu było zaniżone taktowanie RAM. Reszta to raczej w porównaniu do tego to kosmetyka włączony tryb AHCI dla dysku itd...

Update nie głupi pomysł aczkolwiek na razie wszystko działa. Procesora (w sumie ramu też nie) na razie nie podkręcałem bo muszę kupić jakieś wydajniejsze chłodzenie a Scythe Mugen 2 obawiam się że się nie zmieści w obudowie CoolerMaster 330
